What Are Jack Guards?
Jack Guards are ¼” jack shaped plugs that come in two different models. The JG50 and the JG100. Both Jack Guard models perfectly seal the entrance of standard 1/4” input/output jacks. This puts an end to moisture, dust, dirt, smoke, and other contaminants, entering and degrading or damaging your instruments and equipment. Both Jack Guard models possess powerful anti-static properties that stop your input/output jacks from attracting and collecting dust, dirt, smoke, and other contaminants that cause these issues. The JG100 also provides constant moisture control.
How do I install them?
Easy, simply plug your choice of Jack Guard into any ¼ inch input/output jack that is not being used. This is the same size input/output jacks that you find installed in all standard electric lead or bass guitars, stereos, mixing consoles, etc.
For over 2-1//2 years the Jack Guard products were scientifically designed, formulated, molded and then subjected to strenuous simulation tests in hyperbaric chambers, simulating usage of 2 years in a 100 percent humidity atmosphere. Far more direct moisture than most gear should encounter on a daily basis.
Following the scientific development and testing, the Jack Guards were then rigorously tested in different high humidity situations, in different type of instruments, and in numerous types of electronics. The Jack Guards crushed it in every test situation.
How long do they last?
The JG50 Jack Guards will typically work sealing the jack from moisture, dust, dirt, smoke,
and other contaminants, while providing powerful anti-static properties, for the lifetime of your
instruments and equipment.
The JG100 Jack Guards will also typically last the life of your instruments and equipment,
sealing the jacks and providing anti-static properties for your instruments and equipment.
